Lisa is a self-taught artist specializing in pencil sketches and black ink drawings. She discovered her passion for art during the Corona Virus Pandemic. She lost her only brother, Michael, to suicide in April of 2020. He battled complications from Type 2 diabetes, and chose to end his battle on his own terms, instead of seeking professional help in his time of need.
Lisa drew her way through the stages of grief, and very soon this love and talent for sketching turned to her family members as being her next subjects, and she now has landed her focus on pet portraits She has an eye for detail, and is able to capture expression and light from photographs and pass them on into her portraits to make them come alive.
